So I’m late! LOL

This week’s project 52 theme was landscape. I love nature shots due to my beautiful 100mm macro lens. I took this in my backyard one morning last week…..

The Kids Were Here: April

Tuesday, April 22nd, 2014

We’re obsessed with Batman over here.

I find these guys everywhere: under the couch, in the bathtub, in the car, under the sheets in the bed….

I find him in a corner, talking to them. Or maybe they are talking to each other.

I guess I should be well protected with these guys around huh?

This post is a part of a blog circle I am a part of called The Kids Were Here. Where we as moms search for evidence that the kids were indeed here.  Follow the circle around and check out Desiree!

My Life’s Photos: Easter

Monday, April 21st, 2014

Easter was wonderful.

We went to sunrise service( avoiding all crowds AND getting our praise on at the same time!)

My brother, his fiancee and their daughter were at our house this weekend and since she is Pookah’s 2nd favorite person he was in heaven.

So church, barbecue, easter eggs and sunshine. ( Pookah’s allergies are under control FINALLY!.)

So of course…pictures! LOL

Show us your Easter photos for our #mylifesphotos challenge!

Letters to My Sons: April

Wednesday, April 16th, 2014

Dear Pookah:

You had your first baseball game last week.

As an obsessed MWAC, I had grand plans of taking all of these actions shots when you stepped up to bat. I wanted that emotion, the first hit, the look on your face. I wanted it all.

I got the back of you through a fence.  LOL

When you did step up to the plate and you did get a hit, I was so excited that I almost DROPPED my camera. LOL

I was so proud of you!!!

And I saw the joy on your face as you ran to first base. I saw the joy on your Daddy’s face. And I knew it was reflected in mine.

While I was initially disappointed that I didn’t capture exactly what I wanted, I realized that I would always have that memory of your first hit.

I can’t wait to see the rest!
